Seeing "Spam Likely"? Here's the fix.
Spam labels are set by carrier algorithms — not by us, and usually not permanently. Work through these steps in order. Most agents clear their labels with steps 1 and 2 alone, without replacing a single number.
1First, confirm it's real
- Call each of your 10 numbers from your personal cell — and from a friend's phone on a different carrier. Labels vary by carrier: a number can be clean on Verizon and flagged on T-Mobile.
- Write down exactly which numbers show "Spam Likely." It's usually 1–2 of the 10, not all of them — and only those need attention.
2Register your numbers — the single biggest fix (free, ~10 minutes)
- Submit all 10 of your numbers at freecallerregistry.com. One form reaches the reputation engines behind all three major carriers (First Orion / T-Mobile, Hiya / AT&T, TNS / Verizon).
- Use your real business info and describe your use honestly — you're calling people who requested information from a licensed insurance agent.
- Allow 3–7 business days for labels to clear.
- Repeat this any time you get new numbers — including replacements.
3Dialing habits that keep numbers clean
- Spread your volume. The dialer already rotates across your 10 numbers with local area-code matching — carrier algorithms flag single numbers doing 100+ calls a day.
- Conversations help, hang-ups hurt. A day of mostly under-6-second calls looks robotic to carrier analytics. Answered, minutes-long calls build your numbers' reputation.
- Callbacks are reputation gold. When prospects call your numbers back, carriers score those numbers as legitimate.
- Stay inside calling hours. The dialer's calling-hours protection already blocks early/late dials — that's protecting your numbers' reputation, not just compliance.
✅ What we already do for you
Every call you place carries full STIR/SHAKEN "A" attestation — the highest caller-authentication grade, proving to carriers your caller ID is real and owned by you. Your calls also get local area-code matching (prospects see a local number, and volume spreads across all 10) and calling-hours protection out of the box. The foundation is solid — the steps above are about carrier-side reputation, which follows your numbers and habits.
4Still flagged after registering? Replace just the bad ones — $2 each
- From your dashboard's "Your phone numbers" card you can drop a flagged number (free) and add a fresh one in the same area code for $2.
- Only replace numbers you confirmed flagged in step 1 — replacing clean numbers wastes money and resets their built-up reputation.
- Register the new number at the Free Caller Registry right away (step 2).

⚠ Replacement is the last step, not the first. New numbers get re-flagged within weeks if the underlying dialing pattern doesn't change — steps 2 and 3 are what keep numbers clean long-term.
